LGBT Dance at UofT

Hey everyone!
Here’s one last chance to get together and dance before the end of the semester.
LGBT Dance at U of T will be hosting a social. This means music, lots of people from the club dancing, snacks and some space to visit as well.  You’re welcome to bring queer or queer Positive friends along. The more the merrier.
Come out, enjoy some great music, awesome dancing and maybe some delicious baked goods.
Everything starts at 2:00 and we’ll be dancing until 4:00 in our regular location in the Cumberland Room of the Centre for International Experience (33 St George Street).

Our Winter 2012 session starts this Saturday, February 4th.  If you haven’t signed up, there’s still room!

Saturday Salsa Classes (Feb. 4th to April 14th, 10 weeks)

Salsa 1:  3 to 4pm

Salsa 2: 1 to 2pm

Salsa 3: 2 to 3pm

All salsa classes are held at the Cumberland House, 33 St. George Street.

Sunday Hip Hop Classes (Feb. 5th to April 15th, 10 weeks)

Hip Hop 1: 6 to 7pm

Hip Hop 2: 7 to 8pm

All hip hop classes are held at the Multifatih Centre, 569 Spadina Avenue

Cost: Students : $40; Non-students: $80 for all 10 classes

Hey everyone!

We’re having a get-together to welcome everyone back for the new year.  We’ll be having some snacks and some tea and pop, and of course, some excellent music and dancing.

Everyone is welcome, come dance, or just come and catch up with your classmates, whatever you’d like to do.

Where: Cumberland House, 33 St. George Street, Toronto, ON

When: Saturday, January 14, 2012, 2-4pm.

QUEER SALSA:
You don’t need a partner! Everyone is welcome!

Starting Saturday, February 4th to April 14th (10 weeks, no class on Easter weekend)

Salsa 1 (beginner) – 3 to 4pm
Salsa 2 (intermediate) – 1 to 2pm
Salsa 3 (advanced) – 2 to 3pm

QUEER HIP HOP:

Starting Sunday, February 5th to April 15th – a 10 week session (no class on Easter weekend).

This time around, we’re expanding our hip hop program to offer two levels of classes:

Hip Hop 1 (beginner) – 6 to 7pm
This class will teach basic hip hop moves, counting to music, and basic dance routines.

Hip Hop 2 (intermediate) – 7 to 8pm
This class is for those that have taken beginner hip hop and will introduce more advanced moves and dance routines.

Classes are at the Multifaith Centre, 569 Spadina Avenue.

Cost for classes is $40 for students (from any institution and with student ID) and $80 for non-students.
